Within Eurbanlab, EIVP is assessing Urban innovations, developing the assessment tool B4U and testing the services and business model.
Since its inception in 1959, EIVP became the only school providing an engineering degree in Urban Engineering. Urban Engineering applies to the development and management of urban and peri-urban areas in all their dimensions.
Traditionally the development and management of urban areas were organized vertically by areas: roads, buildings, water supply, sanitation, greenery, cleanliness, etc.. and specialists were assigned to each of these areas. In Urban Engineering, the “project management” cross is essential: it breaks down the barriers that stand specialists often without realizing it, around each of their areas.
