Eurbanlab represented at United Nations – June 10th 2014

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held an expert meeting on Cities and Urban Development on June 10th. Eurbanlab was represented by our Community Director, Brian Kilkelly. Brian was able to share how Eurbanlab is helping to accelerate the transition to lower carbon urban environments.

Participants were consistent in the message that greater consideration was needed on how actions can be replicated and scaled up at the city and ‘sub-national’ level to ensure transformational impact on the ground.

In terms of direct benefits to Eurbanlab, connections were made with several potential new community members including the City of Malmo, The Climate Group, the World Bank, and City Hall – Paris.
